Hungry Lamb is designed with privacy at its core
All food tracking and personal data is stored locally on your device
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal food tracking data to external servers
You can export your data, import a backup, or erase everything from the Settings tab at any time
Subscription and Payment Data
Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play
We do not store your payment information
Subscription management is handled by Superwall, a third-party service that receives purchase history data to manage subscription status and enable premium features
We only maintain necessary subscription status information to validate your access to premium features
You can cancel or manage your subscription/billing through your app store account
Data Usage
Your Food logs, streaks, challenges, badges, and settings are saved on your device, and you maintain complete control over this information. Subscription status and minimal account data may be stored securely to maintain your access to the service.
Data Sharing
We do not share any personal data with third parties. Anonymous analytics data may be processed by our analytics provider under strict privacy agreements.
Data Retention and Deletion
All food tracking data, logs, and personal information are stored locally on your device and retained until you choose to delete them. You can delete your data at any time through the Settings tab in the app, which will immediately and permanently remove all local data from your device.
Local device data: Retained until you manually delete it or uninstall the app
Subscription status data: Retained only for the duration of your active subscription and deleted within 30 days of subscription cancellation
Account deletion requests: All associated data is deleted within 30 days of your request
Upon app uninstallation: All local data is automatically removed from your device
Security Practices
We implement security measures to protect your data:
All local data is stored using secure, encrypted storage mechanisms provided by the device operating system
Data transmission, when necessary, uses industry-standard encryption protocols (HTTPS/TLS)
We use secure authentication methods for subscription validation through trusted third-party services
Regular security updates are applied to maintain protection against vulnerabilities
Access to any stored data is restricted and follows the principle of least privilege
